Semi-Homemade Salsa


  • one to two cans of fire-roasted diced tomatoes (*you can use regular diced tomatoes if you want and I used 2 cans because I think I put in too much cilantro and it wasn’t as red as I would have like it)
  • one garlic clove
  • one fresh jalapeno (I left the seeds in because I like spicy foods but feel free to scrape them out if you want)
  • juice of 1/2 a lime
  • half a bunch of cilantro (*see above)
  • salt to taste


This is the easy part. Mix all the ingredients in a blender or I used my magic bullet and voila! The best salsa ever!!
